THESE TERMS These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EasyClean Android application and related support provided by the EasyClean developer ("we," "us," or "our"). Read these Terms and the separate EasyClean Privacy Policy before using the app. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace permission requests, privacy notices, or consent that applicable law requires for a specific activity. These Terms do not exclude any mandatory consumer or privacy rights. 2. ELIGIBILITY You must be legally able to accept these Terms, or have the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required. EasyClean is not directed to children under 13 or below a higher minimum age required by applicable law. You may use the app only on devices and with files that you own or are authorized to manage. 3. WHAT EASYCLEAN DOES Depending on device support, permissions, Android restrictions, and the version available to you, EasyClean provides storage information, junk-file review and cleanup, large-file and duplicate-file discovery, screenshot and similar-photo review, photo/video compression, app usage information, application checks and management shortcuts, network speed and connectivity tools, reminders, and an optional home-screen launcher with app organization, shortcuts, folders, widgets, and recent/frequent app views. Not every feature is available on every device. Android may limit access to other apps' files, protected system data, usage information, widgets, or other capabilities. EasyClean cannot override those restrictions and does not guarantee access to every file or cache on a device. 4. YOUR LICENSE Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use EasyClean for lawful personal purposes on a compatible device. You retain ownership of your own files and content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your photos, videos, documents, or other personal files to us. EasyClean's branding, original application content, and other intellectual property remain with their respective owners. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. Nothing in these Terms limits rights those licenses or applicable law grant you. 5. PERMISSIONS, THE LAUNCHER, AND DEVICE SETTINGS Some features require media/file permissions, All files access, Usage Access, notification permission, or separate notification-listener access. Setting EasyClean as the default Home app is optional. Grant only access that you are comfortable providing. Refusing or revoking access may limit related features. When enabled as your launcher, EasyClean displays and launches installed apps and maintains its own layout and local recent/frequent activity. Enabling notification access allows launcher notification dots, previews, and notification actions. Notification previews can expose message contents on your screen, so consider who can access your device. You remain in control of Android's default-app and permission settings. You can select a different Home app through system settings. Before uninstalling a launcher or clearing its data, make sure another Home app is available; clearing data can remove the EasyClean layout, folders, and preferences. Android may restore some launcher information from a system backup. 6. FILE DELETION AND COMPRESSION You are responsible for reviewing scan results, selected files, and the action shown before confirming deletion, compression, replacement, or app removal. A file described as junk, duplicate, large, similar, or a screenshot may still be important to you. Similarity and duplicate detection are tools to assist review, not a guarantee that a file is unnecessary. Deletion may be permanent. Availability of a trash/recycle function and Android confirmation varies by file type, location, Android version, and device. EasyClean is not a backup or file-recovery service. Keep independent backups of important data before performing cleanup or compression. Compression can change image or video quality, resolution, metadata, format, file size, or compatibility. Results and storage savings vary by input and selected settings. Saved outputs can remain outside the app after uninstalling. Temporary scan, thumbnail, download, and compression files may be updated or cleaned during normal app operation. Requests to uninstall another application use Android-managed flows and remain subject to the system's approval and restrictions. 7. SCAN RESULTS, NETWORK TOOLS, AND LIMITATIONS Storage amounts, potential savings, usage counts, application classifications, and similar measurements are estimates based on accessible information. They can change as other apps or the system update files. EasyClean does not guarantee a particular increase in storage, speed, memory, battery life, or other performance. App checks and network/Wi-Fi checks are informational tools. A store listing that is missing or unreachable is not proof that an app is malicious. A successful connection or displayed safety status is not a guarantee that a network, encryption, application, or device is secure. EasyClean is not a substitute for dedicated security software or professional advice and does not comprehensively inspect every threat or network connection. Network speed tests transfer data to or from external endpoints and can consume a significant amount of Wi-Fi or mobile data. The current default test can download approximately 50 MB; actual usage varies. Results depend on the server, network congestion, signal, device, test duration, and other conditions. They are not a guarantee of service from your carrier. You are responsible for data charges under your network plan. Some app checks send the package name being checked to Google Play. Connectivity checks currently contact Facebook, and speed tests use an external endpoint, currently Cloudflare by default. These requests expose ordinary network-request information to the recipient. The Privacy Policy describes these connections in more detail. 8. ADVERTISEMENTS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES EasyClean is advertising-supported. Advertisements can appear during app opening, transitions, launcher-related app-opening flows, and supported feature screens. Placement, availability, timing, and frequency may vary with configuration, attribution, region, connectivity, and available inventory. The current version does not promise an ad-free experience. An advertisement is not our endorsement of the advertised product or service. Third-party apps, websites, app stores, widgets, advertisements, and services have their own terms and privacy practices. Review those terms before interacting or making a purchase. EasyClean does not control their content, availability, transactions, or performance. The current release does not require an EasyClean account or offer an EasyClean paid subscription. These Terms do not authorize a subscription charge. Any future paid offering would need separate, clearly presented price and payment terms, together with applicable purchase confirmation and cancellation rights. 9. PRIVACY AND SUPPORT The separate EasyClean Privacy Policy explains local file processing, launcher and usage information, permissions, advertising, analytics, attribution, notifications, external network checks, retention, and your controls. Do not assume that local file processing means the application makes no network connections or collects no analytics information. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send. Do not send passwords, private media, or unnecessary sensitive information. ACCEPTABLE USE You must not use EasyClean to access, inspect, delete, alter, or distribute another person's data without authorization; violate intellectual-property or privacy rights; distribute malicious content; interfere with the app or connected services; generate fraudulent ad impressions or clicks; or use network tools to disrupt third-party systems. Do not misrepresent your affiliation with EasyClean or remove proprietary notices in ways prohibited by applicable licenses. Any restriction on reverse engineering, modification, or redistribution applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and applicable third-party/open-source licenses. 11. UPDATES, AVAILABILITY, AND ENDING USE We may release updates, adjust configuration, change features, or discontinue support. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every Android version or manufacturer modification. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. You may stop using EasyClean at any time and uninstall it through Android. Revoking permissions and clearing local data are separate actions. Uninstallation does not automatically remove exported files, system backups, emails you sent, or information already held by third-party providers. Where legally permitted, we may restrict access to services we operate when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, fraud, security concerns, or material breaches of these Terms. We do not claim that these Terms allow us to remotely erase your personal files. 12. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY To the extent permitted by applicable law, EasyClean is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted access, complete scan results, recoverability of deleted files, a specific performance improvement, or the accuracy or availability of third-party services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from third-party services or your failure to maintain appropriate backups. Responsibility for other losses is determined under applicable law, including the nature of the breach and whether the loss was reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable statutory guarantees, fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where protected by law. We remain responsible for matters for which applicable law makes us responsible, and these Terms do not shift that responsibility to you. 13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements. The updated document will show a revised date. We will provide notice and obtain agreement where required for material changes. Changes are not retroactive. If you do not accept revised Terms, you may stop using the app without losing rights that already arose under applicable law. 14. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES These Terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. They do not require you to waive a mandatory local remedy, submit to exclusive foreign courts, or accept mandatory arbitration. If a concern arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it; contacting us does not prevent you from using any legal remedy available to you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. Our failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive our rights. Nothing creates an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between you and us. 15.
